Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) gets new update
Samsung has started pushing out a new update to its Galaxy A8 (2018) smartphone. Arriving as version A530FXXU2ARB9, it's a security update that brings along Android fixes for the month of March.
The over-the-air roll out has just begun, so it may take time for the update to arrive in all regions where the device is available. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the update by heading to the Settings menu on your handset.

this is Ubuntu only downstream patches by +Didier Roche
it adds the over-amplification switch to Ubuntu Settings, so we can raise volume above 100%, a long time request, specially for laptops
however for now, there is not an indicator on Ubuntu's OSD volume panel, to know when we pass the limit, which i guess is a bug to be fixed!
btw the Ubuntu new theme has a nice development!

on GNOME upstream (like Arch Linux), there is a new sound panel in GNOME Tweaks that allows the same ..and i had posted that previously anyway, so not much point to screenshot it again :)
and btw the Sound Panel is disabled in Ubuntu Tweaks App build!
