#OnThisDay 1940: Allied raid on French seaport of Dieppe. The raid fails, with high Allied casualties. This photo shows a wounded Canadian soldier at Portsmouth on return from Dieppe, 19 August 1942. Canadian forces suffered particularly in the disastrous operation, codenamed ‘Jubilee’. Of the 5,000 Canadians who took part in the raid, 907 were killed and nearly 2,000 captured by the Germans. #WW2

#facepalm

All in the name of #Marijuana laws !

When do we end this insanity ( #criminalization ) ?

What's next ? Offense for farting, burping ?

Well, you could say - it must have to do with the former background of the parents - but it appears more obvious that there's a connection with "drugs & shit"
Robert and Addie Harte had to spend $25,000 to find out why a SWAT team mistakenly raided their home.

#Raid Recovery
#RAID, also known as Redundant Array of Independent Disks) is a technology used for storing data in blocks across multiple disks to achieve greater access speed and redundancy, also known as data striping. The disks by means of a RAID software or #RAID #hardware controller then control the parity and access to the drives, presenting it as a single volume of storage space, which can be partitioned in many unique ways or for a number of logical drives.

Not only do you get greater access and redundancy (provided the correct #RAID level is chosen), capacities of storage can be increased into the Petabytes. #RAID devices (except for #RAID 0) are considered to be fault tolerant but the individual hard drives or solid state drives are not immune to failure. Also hardware and software are prone to any form of voltage, power failure, caching issue, or even in unlikely events leads to corruption from any of the below causes, which are rare:

• RAID controller failure
• RAID configuration lost
• Accidental reconfiguration, deletion of the RAID
• Multiple disk failures on the RAID array.
• RAID partition loss
• Virus attacks
• Virtual disk corruption or lock. (caused by memory caching, power issues in most cases)

For rebuilding the raid array, you would need the help of RAID data recovery experts. Our experts would extract the data from the corrupted array and reconstruct the data in the identical way as it was done before.

Any of the above scenarios will result in data being lost and require a data recovery. Such recoveries are complex; however,#CSSI has had a near 100% success in recovery of every single RAID to date. This is primarily due to its own research and development labs, engineers on hand and constant real time work with development engineers on live recoveries where required.

#RAID #Data #Recovery Process:

#Data #recovery allows you to #recover the data that was stored on the desktops, laptops, SQL servers and also the exchange servers. #RAID data recovery professionals can make it possible for a damaged system to become useful again.

#CSSI India has a highly trained team of experts that solve and recovery RAID cases daily and with over 15 years of experience in this field since the market was introduced to RAID technology.

Our services provide for either online (remote) evaluation at the user location. If the drives are logically intact most of the recovery can be performed remotely and online using our secure connection portal, allowing faster recovery time and significant cost savings.

In the case of severe physical media failure or complex hardware issues, these devices will need to be transported to one of our data recovery labs. In our labs, clean room recovery work can be performed and any requirements attended to for recovery of the data required. CSSI expertise spans the following:

• RAID 0 (Striped data without parity)
• RAID 1 (Mirrored data)
• RAID 10 (Striped with Mirror)
• RAID 5 (Striped with parity)
• RAID 50 (Striped with parity along mirror)
• RAID 6 (Striped with two parity)
• RAID TP (Triple parity stripped RAID)

We are pleased to advise that CSSI has already developed the technology tools for the recovery of triple parity RAID (also known as RAID TP). RAID data recovery happens to be one of the most complex types in informational recoveries, because the systems are some of the most difficult and complex configurations in existence. It requires skills and experience levels; CSSI is proud to say that we have got skilled engineers who solve and recover RAID cases daily.

CSSI also has a very strict policy to mitigate any risk to client data, and procedures it follows within the labs. Many labs do not have such internal policy and procedure due to the administrative and overhead requirements. Here, at CSSI, we perform such activities efficiently, with expert supervision and that is what allows us to provide a near 100% recovery experience to each of our clients.

Furthermore, CSSI was built on success. Having performed over 30,000 in lab data recoveries in the last 15 years we have always followed a policy of No Recovery - No Charge.
