This
#Easter , I have been thinking a lot about what is most important in
#life , for me anyway. I know people who are quite
#affluent but are never
#happy or
#content . Always there is something that is missing, something that they are unhappy about. I know people too who have less than me whose ambitions and
#dreams do not extend beyond the limits of their village. These people are among the friendliest and most hospitable that I know, often coming together to share a glass or two, to
#laugh over the silliest things. Of the families that I know to be the
#closest and most happy in each other's company, I see them getting together a lot in the kitchen, where food, not quite 7-star, is
#cooked with
#love and
#purpose for sharing and eating, for
#nutrition and
#enjoyment . Much laughter and
#joy takes place in such kitchens where family and friends
#bond , making connections, supporting each other, sharing and caring. In such places, the positivity of intent is amazing,
#lifting up spirits, inspiring individuals from the young and the old to dream and to hope.
I'd like to think that if you have
#someone who loves you, family who are always there for you,
#friends who are true, a busy kitchen where food is cooked for sharing, and a roof over your head (as well as an
#AmazonPrime account to load onto your
#Xbox for an endless streaming of movies and tv shows via a fibre connection - hehehe), you are so much richer than the guy with an enormous bank account who finds it too difficult to be contented, to be happy and to love. Money, I believe is not everything. Food, friends and family - they can be.
I hope you are all having a great holiday break guys, wherever you may be.
