The Cincinnati Zoo shot a 17-year old Gorilla when a child fell inside the enclosure. Was the Zoo right or wrong in the killing of this Gorilla?

Witnesses said they heard the boy talking about wanting to get in there before he gave him mom the slip, climbed the fence and fell in. He did receive a concussion. Video Footage has shown him being dragged by the Gorilla, #harambe . Video footage also showed that before that he did appear to be protective of the young boy.

Many people are blaming the parents as well for not watching their kid.

I tend to agree with the the zoo. The gorilla was agitated and they did not feel other methods that could be used, would be safe for the boy.
