14th January 2018 - Reabold Hill timelapse - Perth, Australia

On the 14th of January 2018, a large storm from the tropics was scheduled to reach Perth. Starting at 12 noon I began capturing a 15 min time lapse from Reabold Hill every two hours until 8pm.
While the front was delayed, I was able to capture a smoke covering the city from a huge fire in the hills.

Unfortunately, there was an error with the transfer of the first clip and the file was corrupted. I had to use screen capture software while replaying the video. Also, the wind and elements made the platform I was filming on unstable in the evening. This resulted in many blurry and smudged images, which I couldn’t use.
