Today let's talk about how all roof coating is not the same, this is going to be broken down so it is very simple and right to the point.
There are many elastomeric roof coatings out there and not all of them will do a proper job keeping your roof protected there are those that are cheaper and the reason they are is because they are just not made to last more then two to three years, yes it is a coating but in reality these coatings will not hold up to the weather or harsh direct sun that we get here in Arizona. When having your roof coated making sure that the product which will be applied is going to last for seven to ten years with silicone in the product should be a high priority since you are spending money to have your roof protected for more then just a few short years it is best to make sure a quality product that is going to do the job properly and not be a waste of your hard earned money. We use a product that we have seen first hand that lasts in the weather and harsh direct sun that beats down the cheap products, this product also holds up to the monsoons so much better then the cheap products and we always get a lot of calls after the monsoon season to repair or re roof coat jobs where cheap products were used by other roof coating companies.
