When Europe made a really bad 'peace deal' - they complain that the US turned up late to clear up the mess. This time they complain when the US stopped a bad deal before it could make a mess. The Europeans need to learn that you don't appease nasty regimes. #Iran

It’s the recognition of the capital that I think is important. Everyone knows it’s the capital, everyone operates as if it is the capital, except for political recognition. At that point cowardice and false thinking take over. That needs to stop.

Steve, whilst I accept the comment, there is also political affiliation involved. FSOI and JVL (pretty much the same group) and certainly @PSCupdates hate Abbas and the PA and a chance to criticise is as much about Palestinian politics as it may be about #antisemitism

Ah, sorry, I don’t think it’s easy to quantify. My wife’s father was given 24 hours to leave Egypt or face Jail. Was he expelled, because technically he didn’t have to leave? Some countries coerced and encouraged departure through persecution without direct expulsion.

A minority were expelled. Arguing differently dehumanises the Arabs. Do you know what people do in civil war? They run. They take their kids and get far away from the fighting. Jews had nowhere to go but the Arabs did. Why on earth would you believe they would behave unnaturally?
