As our delegation goes back to Israel, they said they “planted the seed”, and they hope that catchball will “catch on” and become an active part of the Milwaukee Jewish community (stay tuned for updates)!

Milwaukee families came out to yesterday's tournament to cheer on their family member/friend. A 11-year-old boy said, “Usually, my mom is on the sideline cheering me on, but here, I’m on the sideline cheering on my mom.”

has exceeded our expectations! Thank you to the 70 women from our community who participated in this catchball week. Yesterday’s tournament brought together women of different abilities, athletic experience, backgrounds and ages in a celebration of sisterhood

! Playing games/sports is reminiscent to when we used to play as children. Through playing, the Catchball Delegation has helped us make friends with women not only across the ocean, but also across the road.

Catchball is more than a sport and more than therapy; it's friendship. Catchball is an opportunity for women to be connected and develop friendships here in Milwaukee & in Israel. Come out/support all our new catchball ladies on Sunday at the P2G Catchball Tournament!

Awesome first day with our Catchball Delegation! Yesterday, the delegation led the catchball orientation at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center and taught about 40 Milwaukee women how to play the fastest-growing sport in Israel!

Let the games begin! Our Catchball Delegation arrived in Milwaukee yesterday. Teaching catchball is not the goal of this week. The goal is people-to-people connection and relationship building; catchball is just the tool for doing so.
