April 4 marks how far women collectively need to work into 2017 to earn what men were paid in 2016. But Black and Hispanic women face an even larger wage gap, which means they have to work even further into 2017 to catch up. We need to close the pay gap for all women, especially those most affected by it. We can’t get to equality until we do.
In partnership with the Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR), we are releasing exclusive data on the gender pay gap to support #20PercentCounts. IWPR is the leading think tank in the United States applying quantitative and qualitative analysis of public policy through a gendered lens.
