new_user Yes, it's amazing how Bronte was able to communicate so much in the little details, like the intensity of Rochester's dark eyes, etc. She did a lot with so little, compared with today's romances where we're free to describe the hero's tight breeches, height, etc. LOL.

I think you did a good job regardless; this is a difficult book to review, I think, simply because it's such a classic and can touch one in such profound ways! One of my all-time favourites, even preferred to Wuthering Heights:) Glad you enjoyed it:)
