Oh my lucky stars, I cannot describe the high I am still riding after finishing this book. My sister and I binge read books #1-10 of the series back in 2011; they were a different read for us as we don’t gravitate toward sports themed books, but I quickly fell in love with the quirky cast of characters, hilarious banter, and action packed mysteries found in each story. It had been so long since I read book #10 (Live Wire) that I had to search out some refreshers online to make sure I was up to speed, although it turns out I didn’t need them. I would highly recommend reading the rest of the series before picking up, say, book #11, but if you aren’t in it for the character development and solely for the mystery, I guess you could jump right in.

I’ll admit, I was a little worried that Mr. Coben might have lost his touch in the years taken off from writing the escapades of his BFFs Myron and Win, but I’m happy to report that all is as it should be, and our dynamic duo is better than ever. The book starts with immediate action, and the narrative is told alternating between Win and Myron’s POV (more Myron than Win though). This flowed nicely and kept the suspense tight throughout; even at 400 pages this book flew by so fast I half expected smoke to come off my fingertips. Clearly the individual plots of the series are enough to keep you engaged, but the true WINning factor (see what I did there?) is the character development. The relationships that integrate his characters, not only with each other, but in the plot line is superb; anyone who has read a book by Harlan Coben knows he is the master of converging multiple storylines that are seemingly unrelated into one complex finale to blow your mind. His series is no different, in fact it might be even better, as we have these recurring characters to journey with while growing to love them more with each book.

The plot in this one felt a bit heavier than his past books; sure they all include murder and violence, but these aspects are usually paired with dry humor and slapstick sillies. This particular story felt set apart from the others. I’m not sure if this was due to there being such a large gap between book #10 an #11’s publication or due to the subject matter; it could be a combination of both. Whatever the reason, it was brilliant and I couldn’t be more impressed. Our characters show more growth, depth, emotion, and moral character (or lack there of) than in any other Myron Bolitar novel to date. There were still the scenes of humor we all love, but overall this book had a darker side along with a more complex storyline that, while gave us answers, didn’t leave everything cookie cutter perfect. That reason alone is what bumped my review to a full 5 star rating; I can’t tell you the amount of maturation in the author’s writing of this series between this book and the last. The pacing as I stated before was very quick, intense, and satisfying; I’ll stop there as to not spoil anything.

If you are a huge fan of the series, like myself, you might be worried that after so many years away from these characters, the author just can’t deliver like he used to. Maybe he should have stopped while he was ahead and concentrate his efforts elsewhere. Please don’t, and make sure and give this book a go. I truly believe this is his best Myron Bolitar yet, so much so that I feel I need to go back and read his Mickey Bolitar series now! (BTW- I feel like I would have been able to experience this book on a deeper level if I had read Mickey Bolitar’s story first. This is completely readable without doing so; its the difference between having backstory and a relationship with side characters with deeper understanding than just getting acquainted with them and having to learn their backstory later.) This will likely be my top read in a series for 2016; I cannot recommend it enough! If you are new to the series, go ahead and start with Deal Breaker and enjoy getting to know Myron, Win, Esperanza, and Big Cyndi. This is one investment of your time that I can guarantee you won’t regret.

Finally.......Win and Myron are back together again! Wisecracks are flying and suspense building as an anonymous email prompts the search for two six year old boys.......ten years later.

We begin in London with some BIG bad-ass henchmen and are soon reminded that the filthy rich Windsor Horne Lockwood III can be one wicked and lethal dude despite his aristocratic and effete appearance.

I absolutely loved this book! I feel like I have been waiting for this book forever. Maybe not waiting for it...hoping for it because I didn't know if we would see any more books in the Myron Bolitar series. I have been a huge Harlan Coben fan for years and I adore everything about this series. While I was excited to sit down and read this book, I was also a bit nervous about it. I absolutely loved this book! I feel like I have been waiting for this book forever. Maybe not waiting for it...hoping for it because I didn't know if we would see any more books in the Myron Bolitar series. I have been a huge Harlan Coben fan for years and I adore everything about this series. While I was excited to sit down and read this book, I was also a bit nervous about it. Would it have the same magic as the earlier books? Would the characters have the same appeal now that they are a bit older? Can Win and Myron still solve half the world's problems? I am happy to report that the answer is yes, yes, and yes (okay that might be stretching it a bit).

The mystery at the center of the book was really well done. There were a lot of twists and turns as you may expect from a Harlan Coben novel. I found myself in utter shock as some of the plot twists came into focus. I love that the story was hard to predict and kept me guessing. My interest was tightly held throughout the book and I didn't want to put it down for any reason.

Home is the story of two boys that disappeared ten years ago. One of the boys happens to be Win's cousin's child so he has never quit looking. When he thinks that he spots one of the boys, now a teenager, in London, he calls Myron for help. They work together to find the boy and are successful in recovering one of the boys, Patrick. Win's family member is still missing so Myron and Win go back to the beginning and try to figure out what really happened. They uncover a lot of new things as they work to find the boy and learn the truth.

I loved spending time with Myron, Win, and everyone else. I have to tell you that I love these characters. I liked that they have all grown and in some ways moved on but the connection between them is still strong. Myron and Win may not talk everyday anymore but when Win calls for help, Myron is there for him right away. All of the main characters from the series are in the book as well as the characters from the Mickey Bolitar series. Catching up with these characters was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the small parts of the book that were from Win's perspective. Myron and Win have to be two of my favorite characters and getting into Win's head for any amount of time was a rare treat.

I would highly recommend this book to everyone. I have been known to push Harlan Coben's books onto others and I plan to continue to do so...because they are just that good. This is the eleventh book in the series and while it could be read as a stand-alone novel, why would you want to do that? I think that this is a series that readers really don't want to miss so I do recommend reading all of the books from the beginning. I am crossing my fingers we will soon see another book in this series!

It's been five years since the last Myron Bolitar book, and I hadn't realized how much I missed the characters. But they are back with a bang!

Win has always been a bit of a mystery, so I love that he's sharing the spotlight with Myron in this book. Family and friendships are as strong as ever. Esperanza and Big Cyndi are here, as is nephew Mickey. The humor and witty repartee are here. I was pulled in right from the first chapter because Harlan Coben has an easy-to-read style of storytelling.

I was so happy to see that Harlan Coben had written another Myron Bolitar book. I have been a HUGE fan of Coben’s from the beginning and have read every Myron Bolitar as it was published. I think Harlan Coben is at his finest when writing the Bolitar series; the stand alones have been more mixed for me. I disliked the ending for The Stranger so much that for the first time ever I skipped one of his books, Fool Me Once. All of that being said, the return to Myron is wonderful. Home is absolutely fabulous, and I was very glad that I read it. The book grabbed me from the very first line: “The boy who has been missing for ten years steps into the light.” And the pace of the story never slows down.

As the book opens, Win is in London pursuing a lead on one of two boys that was kidnapped ten years ago. The boys, Patrick and Rhys, were at Rhys’s home with an au pair when they disappeared. Win is involved in trying to locate the boys because his cousin is Rhys’s mother, Brooke. He calls in Myron, and they successfully track down and retrieve Patrick. However, instead of shedding light on the boys’ disappearance and what has become of Rhys, Patrick’s recovery raises more questions. Myron and Win decide to go back to the beginning and try to determine exactly what happened in the first place. The mystery in Home is so well done. As I comment in a number of my reviews, it seems that a lot of the current mysteries are so predictable. There was not an ounce of predictability in Home; twists and turns happen frequently, and I would have never seen the ending coming (which I loved!).

The characters, particularly Myron and Win, have definitely matured, and Myron’s nephew Mickey (who has his own series) plays an important part in Home. Coben chose to tell the story through the alternating viewpoints of Myron and Win which I found very effective.

I highly recommend Home; it is one of the best mysteries I have read in a long while, and it was fun to read about Myron again. Thanks to First to Read for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I knew what it was, having waited anxiously waited for the past couple weeks for the blessed day "Home" would arrive. Peeling the packaging away and seeing the perfectly intriguing cover for Harlan Coben's new book made me one happy girl!

Looking at my to-do list for the afternoon in one hand, and the book awaiting my attention in the other, I quickly sat down o I was giddy with excitement yesterday afternoon when a UPS driver dropped off a book shaped package at our doorstep yesterday afternoon. I knew what it was, having waited anxiously waited for the past couple weeks for the blessed day "Home" would arrive. Peeling the packaging away and seeing the perfectly intriguing cover for Harlan Coben's new book made me one happy girl!

Looking at my to-do list for the afternoon in one hand, and the book awaiting my attention in the other, I quickly sat down on the couch and dove in, laundry and dinner quickly forgotten. Aren't new books why they invented pizza delivery?

Interestingly, the book opens from the perspective of Win, aka Windsor Horne Lockwood III, irrepressible and oft-bloodthirsty companion of Myron Bolitar. In the long running Myron Bolitar series, readers get glimpses of Win and his simple mindset and clear sense of right and wrong. Win has always been the devil on Myron's shoulders, often bringing vengeance down on those Myron would rather just leave bleeding in the gutters. Never in the past have chapters been written from his perspective. If I was stoked before, by the end of the first chapter I was on fire!

Win is in London, tracking down a tip that his six year old cousin Rhys, who was kidnapped along with a playmate ten years ago has been spotted. After spotting a teen who could very well be the sixteen year old version of Patrick, his cousin's friend, Win sets in motion a game of cat and mouse that eventually leads to the return of Patrick, and only Patrick, to the US and his American family. Unfortunately, after so much trauma he can (or won't) shed light on the fate of Rhys.

Win and Myron must go back to the beginning, ten years ago when the two boys were first kidnapped and taken for ransom to unravel the layers of deception and treachery. Win trots around the globe chasing the only lead they have as Myron manages the home front, getting help from his nephew Mickey along with his friends Ema and Spoon.

Coben's Bolitar series has always been a huge favorite of mine, along with his standalone novels and the new Mickey Bolitar series for YA readers. "Home" fits right in, and is likely the best of Coben's work to date. ...more

While I'm a huge Coben fan, this was my first experience with Myron Bolitar (received directly from the publisher in exchange for a review), and it was excellent. HOME has all plot twists and suspense that one might come to expect from a Harlan Coben novel, and it's one of his better ones in a while. My only complaint about HOME - and it's not really a complaint, I suppose - is that there was a lot of back story that I wasn't privy to, since this was my first Bolitar novel. Harlan Coben can spin a tale. "Home" is good; I actually give it 4 1/2 stars. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because I felt some parts were stretched out a bit and they didn't need to be. But it is a great read. I still love the two main buddy characters, Myron Bolitar and Windsor Horne Lockwood III (Win). Their relationship is perfect...it's interesting, entertaining, and fun.

Harlan Coben has been one of my favorite authors for the past 10 years or so, so I didn't exactly start reading this book on an entirely objective note. Coben's stand-alone novels are my favorites (e.g. No Second Chance and Tell No One), but his Myron Bolitar series is also super entertaining due to their extra portion of the Coben humor shown in more dialogue than I see in most other books in the mystery/thriller genre as well as the more colorful characters (e.g. Big Cyndi and the crossdressin Harlan Coben has been one of my favorite authors for the past 10 years or so, so I didn't exactly start reading this book on an entirely objective note. Coben's stand-alone novels are my favorites (e.g. No Second Chance and Tell No One), but his Myron Bolitar series is also super entertaining due to their extra portion of the Coben humor shown in more dialogue than I see in most other books in the mystery/thriller genre as well as the more colorful characters (e.g. Big Cyndi and the crossdressing Israeli agent, Zorra).
In this book, the 11th in the Myron Bolitar series, Coben has chosen to make Myron's best friend and sidekick, Win (Windsor Horne Lockwood III), a main character of almost equal importance as Myron, and this actually works very well. Coben also adds some background to their friendship and makes the reader realize just how close they are - touching, but at times also a little too much.
One of my few objections to this book - and to the series in general - is that although much goes wrong for Myron, the fight scenes and "operational" parts of the story are a little too easily won for both Myron and - especially - Win, who seems like an almost super hero with his fighting skills and technological equipment.
A nice addition to this book is that Myron's live-in nephew, Mickey - the main character from Coben's YA spinoff series - along with his friends, Ema and Spoon, also play important parts in the story.
Coben has added a couple of his trademark twists and turns - and also some major surprises - to the plot, and the book never loses its pace, making it a fun and fast read. I guess new Coben readers could jump into the series here, but I may be blind to all the implicit references throughout the book, so I would still suggest starting the series from the first in the series (Deal Breaker) or just 5-6 books back (e.g. Darkest Fear). My overall assessment is that this is a very pleasant reunion with the entire crew from both the Myron and Mickey Bolitar series, and fans will swallow it in huge bites with sheer delight!

It took over three years as the author concentrated on other projects, but thankfully number eleven was just been released. The new novel, HOME brings with it the usual cast of characters from previous efforts, Myron, Win, Esperanta, “Big Cyndi” are all present with a hos I have always found the characters in Harlan Coben’s Myron Bolitar series entertaining with doses of humor, sarcasm, and a tinge of seriousness. After reading the first ten books in the series I anxiously awaited number eleven. It took over three years as the author concentrated on other projects, but thankfully number eleven was just been released. The new novel, HOME brings with it the usual cast of characters from previous efforts, Myron, Win, Esperanta, “Big Cyndi” are all present with a host of new creations. Fans of the series will not be disappointed as the plot line begins with the sighting of two boys, Patrick Moore and Rhys Baldwin in London, missing for ten years since their kidnapping from a suburban New Jersey town. The discovery takes place under a highway overpass where a separate somewhat perverse mini-society has evolved. Once the sighting takes place Win contacts his sidekick Myron who he has not seen for over a year.

As usual Coben has created a fast moving plot with the usual snappy dialogue on the part of the “ultimate preppy,” the self-indulgent Windsor Horne Lockwood III, the former all-American college basketball player, Myron Bolitar, and Myron’s nephew, Mickey who is a “chip off his uncle’s block! “ Coben continues his habit of 1940s and 50s movie tropes, particularly detective stories, among his humorous asides. The story itself begins in what appears to be a straight out kidnapping/hostage case that was never solved, but it takes a number of interesting and nasty turns that will leave the reader guessing for a good part of the story. For Win, the case is personal since Rhys Baldwin is a cousin and he is very close to his mother, Brooke. The plot is highlighted by dysfunctional marriages, computer gaming, trafficking in young boys, and a high degree of selfishness by a number of characters.

For the current novel Coben creates a number of interesting characters. Apart from the parents of the missing boys we meet Chris Alan Weeks, a.k.a. Fat Gandhi who traffics in young boys, Shlomo Avraham, a.k.a. Zorra, a cross dressing former Mossad agent, Spoon, a nerdy computer geek, in addition to others. The scenario behind the story begins in one place and its completion will be very difficult to predict. Coben maintains the credibility of the series with another fine effort whose last paragraph will be somewhat shocking. All in all, a fun read.

Wow. It's been a while since I closed a book and hugged it to myself for a little while. Some things are a given about Harlan's books. They will be page turners, I will read them too quickly but also not quick enough and I will be kept guessing right until the end. One thing that I don't usually expect from Harlan's books is to have trouble seeing the words because of the tears streaming down my face. Books that make me cry stay with me forever. First let me being by saying I had a chance to meet the author a few years ago and since then have feel in love with everything that he has written. After talking with him that day every time I think of the down to earth person he is and see a little of him in his characters.

Rhys Baldwin and Patrick Moore disappear during a playdate at Rhys's house. Rhys happens to be a cousin of Win - Windsor Horne Lockwood III - who is Myron's partner.

The story begins in Win's voice as he has traveled to London because he received an email saying one of the missing boys has been spotted. He sees the boy hanging out with male prostitutes under a bridge but doesn't approach because it is Patrick and not Rhys. He decides to keep watch in the hopes that Rhys will show up too. Before too much time Patrick is accosted by bully boys and Win is forced to intervene. He winds up killing the bully boys and Patrick runs away. This is when Win phones Myron for some help.

Win has been missing for more than a year. His phone call finds Myron with his fiancee. But Myron drops everything to head to London to back up his friend. Together they extract Patrick from the clutches of a crime lord with ties to prostitution, hacking, and other stuff. But Patrick is swept up by his parents before Myron and Win can find out about Rhys.

This leads them to begin investigating the crime again from the beginning and leads them to lots of questions about what happened. Aiding in the investigation are a variety of characters from earlier books in the series including Myron's nephew Mickey and his friend Ema.

Myron and Win follow a twisted and twisting path to reach a conclusion that really surprised me. I have only read the first Myron Bolitar mystery and didn't know Win who turns out to be one scary dude with a unique sense of justice. I have read the YA books starring Mickey, Spoon, and Ema and was glad to see them again.

This was a book I found impossible to put down. I loved the relationship between Myron and Win and their clever repartee. I also really enjoyed Myron's relationship with both Micky and with his aging parents. We say a man who isn't afraid to love which contrasts greatly with Win who doesn't really care for very many people but will fight to the death for those he does care about.

This was a great mystery and makes me want to go back and read all the Myron Bolitar mysteries that I haven't yet read. ...more

This was my first Myron Bolitar book and my first Harlan Coben, although I've heard good things about both for quite awhile. I was not disappointed; the book was really good. When Windsor Horne Lockwood III (Win) received a mysterious untraceable email concerning two boys, Patrick Moore and Rhys Baldwin, who have been kidnapped from Baldwin’s suburban New Jersey house ten years earlier when they were six, he comes out of hiding to follow up on the lead provided. It led him to London’s King’s Cross Station, where he spotted someone who resembles Patrick but it soon becomes messy, and he calls up Myron Bolitar for help. To cut a long story short, Myron and Win soon found Patrick again, and brings him home but Rhys was nowhere to be found. Their hope of ferreting out details about Rhys was short-lived as they are unable to get anything out of Patrick. Their hope of finding Rhys dimmed but the duo rummaged through the smallest leads in the fondest hope of rescuing Rhys. Myron and Win returned to where it all started, trying to piece together the jigsaw puzzle, and unearthed new leads and evidences as they try to solve the mystery.

Home by Harlan Coben is full of the author’s trademark twists and turns, fast-paced, absorbing, fun and exciting. The two main characters perfectly jell, and they are ably supported by secondary characters like, Mickey Bolitar, Ema Wyatt, Esperenza, Big Cindy and Spoon. I find them exciting and believable. The master storyteller that he is, Coben has a way of tying you up in knots until the last page. His sense of humor shines through his characters, especially Myron. Though I was a little sceptical about Win sharing almost the same space and of equal importance as Myron in the book, in the end it has worked perfectly for me. While the story revolves around two kidnapped boys and the efforts to trace and rescue them, it has a deeper emotional, psychological and social issues ingrained in it – about friendship and family. This is pretty much like the standalone books Coben has been writing lately, but with Myron Bolitar; which is fine, because I love Myron. And Win! Win is back and all over this story, Yeah!! Mickey and his emo girlfriend also, but I don't keep up with his series, so that doesn't mean so much to me.

First let me state this book can easily read as a stand-a-lone, but the main characters have a history and after reading this book you will want to know that history.

The story starts with Myron getting a call from Win. Ten years ago two boys went missing and for Win it is personal because one of the boys was family. The story starts with Myron getting a call from Win. Ten years ago two boys went missing and for Win it is personal because one of the boys was family. After all this time Win receives information that puts him back on the trail and he needs Myron’s help. These two are like the dynamic duo only while Myron is the star of these books he is more often Robin to Win’s Batman.

While Myron does make appearances in Coben’s young adult series, Live Wire, the last Myron Bolitar thriller was published in 2011, so at first I was worried first about my memory of everything Bolitar but also if during the years away the characters wouldn’t live up to my hopes. Coben has written some stellar thrillers since we last visited these characters so the bar was set really high. Well, I need not have worried, my memories picked up like I has read the previous book the day before and Coben hits this one out of the park!

Myron, Win (Windsor Lockhorne III), Esperanza and Big Cindi are all back. Mickey, Myron’s nephew and his girlfriend and friend Spoon (Young Adult Series) along with Myron’s parents are all involved in this book. We meet more of Win’s family and the other missing boy’s family too. Plus the criminals who play a part in this story. They are all vital and spring from the pages.

The entire plot starts and ends with gripping and astounding twists, exactly what I expect from this author. The story has tons of drama, action, and mystery along with several edge of your seat moments. Family interactions and deep psychological matters are revealed that had me absolutely stunned. There are some moments of humor too that fans of Myron and Win will truly appreciate. These two are a pair like no other.

The pace is so fast. I wanted to savor this story I had been waiting so long for but with points of view continually switching between Myron and Win that was impossible. I did the just one more chapter thing so many times I just gave up and stayed up and finished the whole thing and again at the end I exclaimed “WOW!” His books tend to have that effect on me.

In recent years my reading has been more on the cozy side but if I had to choose my all time favorite author my answer has been and will be Harlan Coben. His writing grabs me by the collar and doesn’t let go. I anxiously await each new book. As I finished this one I thought is this the last Bolitar novel? The characters seem to be in a good place so it could be but I sure hope it is not. I do know that whatever this author writes I am going to want to read it immediately so I can’t wait to see where he takes me next. ...more

Harlan Coben has become my favorite American crime novelist. His mysteries always have relentless suspense, unexpected twists with vivid memorable characters.

I was so excited when I heard a new Myron Bolitar book was out and I was not disappointed. It was great to read about all of the characters. The only thing I am not sure about (& it may be my bad memory!) is that it feels like that some events referred to must have occurred in the Mickey Bolitar series. I will have to read that series now to see.

This books starts of slow and bumpy, but it progressively gets you hooked. I stayed up till midnight finishing this book. Some highlights on this book:

1) There were none of Harlan Coben's overused plot-lines. There were no shady strip-clubs, a mother with a secret past or a man who lost the love of his life years ago, but she returns after her and/or his secret past is revealed.. Two young boys, Patrick and Rhys, are kidnapped. A ransom is demanded and met, but nothing is ever heard after that time. The boys remain kidnapped. Windsor Horne Lockwood III or Win as he is known herein is in London, having received a tip that Rhys, his cousin Brook’s son, has been spotted. After spotting Rhys, Win is led to a seedy area of London where he is attacked but quickly and more than adequately takes out his three attackers but in the process loses the young teen he believes is Patri Two young boys, Patrick and Rhys, are kidnapped. A ransom is demanded and met, but nothing is ever heard after that time. The boys remain kidnapped. Windsor Horne Lockwood III or Win as he is known herein is in London, having received a tip that Rhys, his cousin Brook’s son, has been spotted. He quickly alerts his buddy, Myron Bolitar, who comes to London to join the search.
Win and Myron enter the world of a crime lord who uses children and teens to further his business of prostitution, hacking, drugs and other devious jobs. He’s also very savvy with communications, having cameras, voice hacking, and more to protect and further his business interests. Feeling sad about their failure, they return to the United States and decide to revisit every step of this crime to see where it leads them. This, then is the essence of the story that is even more thrilling than the blood, guts and gore scenes of their initial London discoveries.
The parents of Patrick and Rhys are obviously and understandably upset beyond words. Patrick is found and is in terrible shape. His mother is forever grateful but Rhys’s mother is furious that they lost her son and perhaps any chance at finding him. After all, ten years is a long time and if he hasn’t been found in that time how will he be found now when almost every stone has been overturned to find him.
Readers will be shocked beyond words when the resolution of this case is finally realized. It’s not the usual find the bad guys and rescue the missing! Still, it’s worth the read to experience all the twists and turns involving Win, Myron, Mickey (Myron’s nephew), the parents and others. This reviewer hasn’t read any of the previous Myron Bolitar novels in the series but liked the tone of this novel more than the other Harlan Coben novels that I’ve read. This a crime novel/mystery that will satisfy all readers. Nicely crafted fiction replete with puzzles, violence, determination, betrayal, loyalty and sharp detective skills!

Five Star thriller that kept me engaged from the first chapter through the very last page. Home was my first Harlan Coben novel and it definitely won't be my last. I was so excited that my first ARC is for a NYT best selling author and am writing this review because I was lucky to receive the advance copy. To start, I didn't find it all daunting to jump into the series starting with #11. I think Coben is a skilled enough author that he touches on things in the past to pique the interest of new readers like me... and it worked because I'm looking forward to loading up my e-readers with more from this series. Readers new to Harlan Coben - this is the book for YOU!! The characters - engaging, believable, current and edgy. As a mother of teen and tween the kiddos' behavior was so accurate and Mickey, Ema, and Spoon added to the story in a completely appropriate way. I was walking side by side with Nancy and Brandy in my head like they were women I knew - I totally got them. Overall, I like the assortment of adult characters and am looking forward to reading other Myron Bolitar novels so I can learn more about him and Win. The plot - I was coming off another good book and picked up Home with no expectations, other than reading it is expected to be a NYT best seller. After reading it I absolutely know it will! The plot zooms along - I finished it 24 hours... I generally average a book a week, Home is just that good. There is mystery and intrigue and just when one question is answered another pops up. A trend in writing these days is to leave the reader hanging so they buy the next book in the series... the little niggle in the back of my head? It was resolved on the very. last. page. This is a Goodreads win review. This seems to be a series by this author but I found the book very good as a stand alone. The book deals with two boys who were kidnapped ten years before and they think they have found one and need info to find the second one. Good book.

Home. Home can be a place, people, or when things are done right, your favorite character or characters in a book. This book was definitely coming "home" for me. Win is my favorite character in all of literature, and while the glimpses of him in other books have kept me somewhat satisfied, I needed this book! I needed Myron, Esperanza, Big Cindy, Mickey, Ema, and Spoon, too...because they're part of the "home" I've been missing. There would be no Win without these people he cares about.
