Love those Bouvier photos on your home site. I have a friend that has one. I...love...dogs, though I've never had any...,one day... Maybe Lucian would like to have a Bouvier, as he did so well with Margarite's dog Julius.
I keep trying to think of just how Lucian would look dressed in a Santa hat...much less a ...whole...Santa suit, with a long white beard...that image makes me laugh.
I've often wondered what the native language of the ancient Immortal Atlanteans. I guess it could have been ancient Greek, or Latin. Often, I've wished I had the skill to learn the French Canadian dialect, or other languages such as Italian.
Thank you, we are in a rather calm and quiet way. Just enjoying the music, food, and family is enough for us.
Thank you Janice! I hope you have a very Happy New Year as well. You celebrate from Thanksgiving until January 6th...that's a lot of celebrating. I hope you and you're family are enjoying the festivities.
;-)

Happy New Year, and I hope you had a good Boxing Day. We don't really have that holiday, here in the States, but I know of it.
Hope you and your family has fun during Christmas. I celebrate Christmas from the day after Thanksgiving (US's) to the day after Olde Christmas (Jan 6th).
Thank you, much. I hope you have a White Christmas. I know Toronto and Ottawa, etc, must be beautiful on a snowy day. I loved them so much in July, and greatly miss those cities. Oddly, since I was lucky to get to Ottawa -- and downtown Toronto-- ony one day a year during July 1985-July 2000, I always felt safe, and even, that I was home.
Merry Christmas Janice! I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday and year to come.Hugs,
Lynsay
I wonder how Lucian would react, if a mortal human threw a snowball at him. To me that would be a fun thing to see, or...Lucian in a Santa hat. I have wondered if the ancient immortals even celebrate Christmas. But...knowing him, he might be able to read that mortal human's mind, before that mortal human got within snowball throwing range.
I wonder if Lucian...really... likes coffee, or if he only drinks it at breakfast, as the "proper" drink with breakfast, or some foods. I have trouble picturing him as the type that would just sit down in a coffee or a donut shop, drinking coffee. Much less bring a cup of coffee and/or pastry to a mortal human, then sit down at a table with them...that would be a...real...surprise.
Looking forward to Immortal Unchained, and I belive that will be my favorite of the three covers --Runaway Vampire, Immortal Nights, and Immortal Unchained. I think it would be fun to have some of the new stories set in San Antonio. Like Toronto, and Ottawa, I fell in love with San Antonio.
Just started a list on bibliocommons.com in my public library system, that I called Vampire Cookery/ Immortal Style: Thank You Notte Twins, which has books on various foods...especially Italian foods, that both mortal and immortal humans would enjoy. Lots of garlic, but...sadly, no chocolate covered garlic.
I've wondered if Martine's current lifemate, Aloysious (?) --if he's still living--will appear in a book, or even Gia's parents. I've been quite curious about them, for some reason...as well as Martine's already mated sons.
Thank you much, that relieves my own mind. Even though I know its fiction, I had a crazy dream about that once. I guess with my private..."What if" games", it makes me dream about it, in my sleep. Oh well, it's fun, and makes me laugh when I wake. Oddly, that 'unknown' fictional European Council scares me ...much more...than Lucian does. I would never want to be a "bitee' of a European Council member. unless it was Martine, or even one of Julius's parents.
Janice wrote: "I've wondered if there is an Latin American (Mexican, Central, and or South) Immortal Council...or say the islands, as Tomasso turned Abigail, out of Lucian's area. The thing is other immortals can read you and if a council member's thoughts started turning strange or worse yet no one could read a particular council member anymore....well that indicates insanity so a council member turning rogue would likely get caught pretty quickly.

They needed to hunt for blood in order to survive, hence the onset of fangs, speed, night vision and mind control to control their host.
Might be amazing being the lifemate of an Enforcer, and meeting his family, but I'd be terrified of the painful turn.
I've wondered at what part of their history did the Atlanteans/Immortals learn that they could use mind control and mind reading on both mortals and immortals, and how they learned how to use it, so they could teach tie other immortals. I figured that those skills were provided to them by the nanos in the bodies, and bloodstream.
I've wondered if there is an Latin American (Mexican, Central, and or South) Immortal Council...or say the islands, as Tomasso turned Abigail, out of Lucian's area. Also, has any Council...Leader--say Europe--ever gone rogue? I guess Lucian and/or Scotty would have to take care of that. I know if it was real, I wouldn't want to be a "bitee" for a European council member, I didn't even have time to get to know.

Enforcer House...Rogue Hunter House. I like both names for Mortimer's home, though...I wouldn't want to go there. On the other hand...if a rogue was after...maybe...I would. But I'd be sure not to have "Tacky" as the ringtone on my cell phone. I--for one-- would...never... want Lucian, Scotty, Mortimer...or any other Enforcer/Rogue Hunter to be tracking me--in real life-- for any reason. I'd hope...not...to run into Lucian if he ever was injured or wounded, as I might be afraid to donate to...him. Unlike me, my fictional self, Tori, might...most likely, would.
Bite Me, If You Can is also one of my top favorites. I loved the parts about Lucian trying to clean up the kitchen, also the parts when he was trying to take care of the dog, Julius. The Argeneau series would make a fun TV, or movie series. I know I would watch it.

I don't know if you have it in Canada, but there are listing on the internet for chocolate covered garlic, which sounds like a fun snack for Halloween, It sounded quite good to me, since I love chocolate covered candied ginger. Of course chocolate covered garlic might drive Victor and Vincent--of they were real-- "crazy".
Hi Ms Lynsay, Thank you so much for accepting my friend request. I love reading your books and my most favourite of all is Bite Me If You Can of Lucian and Leigh. I really had a lot of fun reading their story and laughed a lot. More power to you! Hope you have a wonderful day! :)
