If you would like a more traditional arrangement, where Fishpond opens an account with your company this is possible as well.

Here’s what we need:

  • Your account opening agreement.
  • A stock / inventory file sent at least daily with price, quantity, barcode or product code.
  • Product data such as images, product descriptions etc.
  • When items sell you’ll need to confirm through our supplier centre within 48 hours which products are on the way to us and if any need to be cancelled.

Trade Account
Listing products In 10-14 business days Fishpond list your items on our website. You list your products by barcode or adding inventory in bulk through email, FTP or online. You provide product data such as images, product descriptions etc. A stock / inventory file sent at least daily with price, quantity, barcode or product code.
Setting a price We will set the initial price and will adjust it to find the best market price. Set your own pricing or use automatic pricing. You will send us cost and Fishpond will set pricing.
Shipping Fishpond will ship your products to buyers from our fulfillment centres. You manage shipping to buyer. All items must be sent within 2 working days of receiving the sold notification email. You ship in bulk to Fishpond fulfillment centres. When items sell you’ll need to confirm through our supplier centre within 48 hours which products are on the way.
Payments To your bank account or as a Fishpond credit within 2 business days of the item shipping. To your bank account or as a Fishpond credit within 15-25 days after you have confirmed that the item has shipped. Fishpond will pay monthly to your bank account.
Commission Fishpond takes a 17% commission on the selling price of the product. Commission of 10% from selling price + shipping cost. Commission does not apply.
Seller name and rating It’s totally anonymous. You can choose your seller name. Your rating is based on the number of items that you have successfully confirmed as sent. Does not apply to direct accounts.
