Once upon a time, it is said that Yogi Berra said: "You can see a lot just by looking.".
Now, as I hear the creative fantasies and denial of facts and ignoring of contradictions to his own statements, I can see that there is an even greater reality, as exhibited by in Donald Hump supporters: "You can see even more by not looking".

Yogi didn't mention the many nuances such as...
Is it the IRS looking? Are they looking at a liberal organization or a conservative organization?
Is it the DOJ/FBI looking? Are they looking at a Clinton scandal or any other scandal?
Is it the left wing media looking? Are they looking at a liberal scandal or a conservative scandal?
As is evidenced nearly every day in the US - the answers to these questions determine what we see.

Sort of a summary: I've heard from more than a few people the following logic.
Is someone is accused, if they find something, they're guilty; if they don't find anything, it's a coverup.
That is serious damage to the fabric of society - j'accuse Worse, it has cheerleader and devotees within politics, the media, universities, houses of worship, the rank-and-file citizens. I won't even point at a party or persuasion, liberal or conservative; for truly, it's a pox dumped on us from both their houses.
The duty of a citizen (as I see it) is to navigate through this and find the truth, wonder what information was leaked, why, and importantly, why just then.
If this doesn't straighten out, that not so old saw is all to relevant: "Be afraid. Be very afraid."

The disconnected improvs of a disordered mind connected to the loose manic mouth of a rabid sociopathic, racist, sexist, violent, clown with ADHD are as meaningful as the pus in a wound.
But, the wound, its depth, its severity, the inertia to heal: that's very important.
Yes, the extreme economic dislocation/disparity, the deep wounds in the body politic that enabled a wanna-be tyrant ... whose rise to national center-stage has much in common with the rise of Adolf Hitler ... by hook and crook to lie their way to front-and-center of Corporate Occupied MallBurgerland's political circus: well, yes, that is worth paying attention to; it may well, indeed, be that an epic singularity in American political life and economic future approaches due to the changing nature of work, and labor. And, if that future includes a madman with fingers on the nuclear-launch buttons ?
As Yeats put it ("The Second Coming," 1919):Quote: The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

Statistically speaking it could have also been a million monkeys hammering away at keyboards, or a very lucky cat doing what cats do best (walking across keyboards at inopportune times). That doesn't discount any of his options.
It is patently untrue though; the physically largest "hacker" I've met in real life was only like 360 pounds. So far off.

He made the correct comment - based upon the thread that followed yours (before this post) with his supporters falling all over themselves to somehow make yet another of his rants of absurd comments sound like the reasoning of a sage. What's that expression? "You Gotta' Believe"
- - - - - -
I am particularly amused that they, in saying "they got nothing on him" choose to ignore his pay-off of the Florida attorney general with his foundation funds - those that were left after he paid to have his own portrait painted (reminds me of Saddam Husein and his portraits) and using another hunk of the charitable donations to pay off fines on his properties.
Where are those tax forms? IRS audit almost through, so now he's passing the onus on Hillary so you can still stone-wall. Or perhaps the racist policies for hiring and renting which (check the transcripts) he justified by saying other companies were doing it too.
He was right all along: He could shoot someone in cold blood in the middle of the street and his supporters would overlook it (or blame Obama).

What he's hiding (as strongly hinted at in his own smirking debate comment) is that he didn't pay any taxes - or far from his fair share - which leaves his bill to the rest of us. A well established pattern for the Fraud-Prince. Ask those contractors he wouldn't pay, thus creating jobs, somehow, by putting them out of business.
Or perhaps that he probably makes lots of money from overseas investments in companies that put Americans out of work.
Or has more business dealing with Putin then he'd care to admit to.
But what is he afraid of?
Obviously, the truth. That, of course, is well established as his relationship with the truth is only coincidental and certainly rare.

I thought he said it could've been a guy lying in a 400 pound bed, but this makes more sense, why would a hacker need a 400lb bed anyway? To barricade the door when the police tries to break in? Personally I'd rather be a 400lb hacker than a 200lb bag of hot air.

Pretending it was true, it'll take a good part of enternity for it to catch up with the savagery cause by the brain-infested devotees of organized religion . . . especially during the last couple of thousand years.
For these recent religions, any herb that makes a person think peace and harmony are to be sought after and cherished is obviously causing brain damage.

Regardless, if you think smoking lots of pot is not going to affect your brain then I don't think any scientific study is going to change your mind. Hence my OP.

Well, I was not talking of my own opinion, but rather of the article itself. I guess we do not have same standards when it comes to scientific-said publications.
And - I triple-checked - it may be a browser problem, but the only links in her article that I can see are to her own articles on livescience.
according to a new review of previous research.
