Allow navigating through slides with up and down arrow keys in presentation mode
Because many slide navigation devices come mapped to the up and down arrows instead of the page up and page down keys, users who don't want to use the app to control slides often end up needing to research a lot in order to find a remote that will work for them.
I'm one of those people, only problem is when I got my remote it turns out that it isn't actually mapped to page up and page down. If there were a simple configuration for "Advance slide key" and "Previous slide key" that maybe offered a limited set of…

Add music/narration
While many users simply use slides as a background for their own real time speech, MANY of us would like to create slide presentations with background music and/or offline narration. "And/or" means loading the music and voice on separate tracks. Along with adding MUSIC (it's a greatly anticpated feature - trust me) would be the ability to change slides on command, not an "in every" choice, such as change slides every 10 seconds or every 3 seconds. As said better in another post, set showing time for each slide independently. Repeat: These are greatly anticipated features.

Image Crop
I think it would be useful to have a tool to allow you to crop images that you import into the presentation

\underbrace support
Hi,
I want to use \underbrace in my slides to add some notes to maths.
Version 0.8.0 of KaTeX added support for \overbrace and \underbrace (see https://github.com/Khan/KaTeX/releases/tag/v0.8.0) so it should be fine if you update KaTeX to the latest one. Thanks,

Copy and paste slides from different decks
I wish I could share slides between different decks. I often reuse slides, so this would be a helpful feature.

Insert Images from google drive
Since we use Google drive in our daily business most of our images (bitmap and vector) live there. It would be neat to have them directly embedded in slides without the need to download them first and them upload them later to slides.com.
I guess the APIs for Google are already in place to build this feature.3 votes -
Become a Google G-Suite app
I would love to click on my google drive "Create new -> Slid.es Deck".
The deck may then appear in google drive like any other file/document and follow the sharing/permission mechanics of google drive.

One-Click Sync Back to Presenter Location
Sync to Live Presenter Slide Location
At DevLeague, we use Slides almost daily. As a student, I usually get a the live# via Slack and open that up. But I often find myself either falling behind and wanting to flip to the previous slide to finish reading that one line, or flipping ahead to get a better sense of how much is left (and time my bio breaks accordingly haha). In live mode, you can't do either of these things, so I end up deleting "live#" in the url to access the slides to browse on my own. I'm then…1 vote -
Note Taking & Sharing by Audience
Taking Notes on Presentations
Beyond collaborating with a team to create slides, in a scenario where a presentation is delivered to a large audience (e.g. class, conference) - I'm always finding myself taking notes on a slide and then I have relative content in Evernote for example and the slides themselves. There's probably some big idea with storing and sharing with others the notes you take to augment what is captured on the slide.1 vote -
Add Python syntax highlighting for exceptions
Code snippets that come from a Python shell might show exception tracebacks. On the Python documentation, the tracebacks are code highlighted. In slides.com, they are not. Could you add that?

Give More Control Over Deck Thumbnail
I am regularly annoyed that your automagic deck thumbnail is out of sync with my deck content. Can you please provide users with the ability to control the deck thumbnail.

Get the current slide id and the list of available slide ids from the embed API
We would like to be able to retrieve a unique id for each slide (not just index) so we can link to a certain slide even if the slides have been rearranged or inserted. We need it from the embedded api so we can sync user notes etc to a specific slide.

scrolling so that we can create higher resolution presentations
We need to make 4k presentations and we do not want to upscale. Currently you are locked into a limited space with slides. We need the ability to scroll in a presentation or else to zoom out to see all of what's being displayed at one time.

Let VIEWERS export decks to .pdf, .zip, etc.
Share your deck with someone and let THEM download it as .pdf, .zip, etc. Right now, the only way to do it is YOURSELF while editing the deck.

Allow Markdown on speaker notes
Speaker notes are great. However I often only glance at them and I'd like to make out the important parts of my notes through simple formatting options like bold and italic settings.
Therefore I suggest to allow Markdown in speaker notes.

Turn off slide motion animation
Turn off the animation between slides. It would be really nice to turn off the slide animation for some presentations.
