Blizzard launched a new microtransaction store alongside Overwatch to sell cosmetic items for the game. The only thing in this shop is bundles of randomized loot boxes: two boxes for $1.99, five boxes for $4.99, 11 boxes for $9.99, 24 boxes for $19.99 or 50 boxes for $39.99.
So, depending on how many you buy at a time, each loot box costs you between 80 cents and $1.
You also get a loot box each time you level up in Overwatch, and the boxes you get for playing are identical to the boxes you get for real money. Many people are thinking about buying loot boxes in Overwatch right now, so here's a primer on what to expect from boxes, the rate you can earn them for free, and whether they're worth buying.

There's no actual game footage to be seen in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's newest trailer. Instead, Eidos Montreal has crafted a live-action short film to depict the upcoming game's harrowing, war-torn world. Watch "The Mechanical Apartheid" above for a cinematic look into Mankind Divided's dark, depressing setting.
The four-minute prologue reveals the state of the world in 2027, following the uprising of mechanically augmented humans. With the convergence of technology and humanity comes a lot of violence and discrimination, culminating in the Human Restoration Act, a move to keep the "non-Augs" and the "Augs" separate.

In a press release, executive producer Man of Action Entertainment (Ben 10, Ultimate Spider-Man) and distributors DHX Media and Dentsu Entertainment presented a first look at the upcoming Mega Man cartoon, set to debut in 2017, along with a handful of story details.
The series will star a young and otherwise normal robot named Aki Light with a secret power: He can become Mega Man, "the world's first robot super-hero." Set in Silicon City, the series showcases Aki's struggle to maintain his superheroic duties on top of his everyday life. He'll be joined by familiar characters like Rush, along with newcomers with names like Mega Mini.

Four months after Paramount dropped The Little Prince from its release schedule — a week before it was supposed to hit theaters — The Little Prince will finally be available to stream on Netflix as of Aug. 5.
The film, which was supposed to be released mid-March in the United States, was inexplicably pulled by the studio from every theater. It was still released, however, in more than 50 international markets for a standard run-time. Based on the 1943 novella written by Antonie de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince follows the story's narrator as he tries to find the creativity he had as a child, but lost as he became an adult.

Devolver Digital has unveiled Absolver, the publisher's latest stylish action project that's heading to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One next year. The game is set to bring martial arts flow to the online multiplayer space, as seen in the trailer above.
Absolver is the first title from indie developer Sloclap, a Parisian studio comprised of designers whose credits include Watch Dogs and the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon series. Absolver doesn't seem to have much in common with either of those games, though; instead, it's set in the fantastical Adal Empire, where masked fighters must fight to prove their worth and earn their survival.

Next month the console versions of Minecraft are getting a major free update: Battle, the first of many minigames that Microsoft says will be coming to the popular title.
In Battle, players will be dropped into a pre-created map and given a few seconds to grab a weapon from a chest before taking on the other players in a deathmatch. It is a game mode, like future minigames, inspired by some of the things players are already doing on their own.
But Battle, which is coming to all PlayStation, Xbox and Wii U versions of Minecraft, comes with the infrastructure to quickly start a competitive game for up to eight players on these pre-created maps with timers, a waiting room and randomly generated resources. The minigame also supports split-screen for up to four players.

New Mr. Robot clip focuses on Tyrell Wellick, details major hack
A new clip for the second season of USA's Mr. Robot has shifted the focus from hacktivsit Elliot Alderson to ex-financial executive, Tyrell Wellick.
The one-minute clip gives a little more insight into the massive attack — led by Elliot and his hacking group, fsociety —that apparently brought down all of E Corp (otherwise known as Evil Corp), the conglomerate Elliot thinks is destroying the world. The hack, which is now being referred to as the "Five/Nine," was thought to be masterminded by Wellick and has made him public enemy number one.

Game of Thrones' sixth season has been terrific so far, full of stunning revelations and emotional plot developments. But the fifth episode, which aired last Sunday, took a turn that tested the patience of many fans, and co-showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss appeared in a taped skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to acknowledge their mistake.

Weiss and Benioff, sitting amid stacks of cash, admitted that the ending to "The Door," the fifth episode of season 6, may have had some unintended consequences. Hodor, after all, had become quite a meme over the course of Game of Thrones' run.

Bethesda Softworks announced that the world of Dishonored will soon receive its own comic and novel tie-ins. Starting this summer, Titan Comics and Books will publish two miniseries set after the end of Dishonored, leading into this November's Dishonored 2.
The first issue of the four-part comic series will arrive Aug. 3, according to Bethesda, with two more issues coming in September before the series concludes in October. The full collection will come to bookstores Nov. 29. The comics will depict assassin Corvo Attano's attempt to find a successor, 12 years after his adventure in Dishonored wrapped.

Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm's annual convention dedicated to everything and anything Star Wars, has an official poster with added details for those looking for some insight into the series' next film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
The poster, which debuted during Disney and Lucasfilm’s weekly Star Wars show, which you can watch above, mainly features the actors from The Force Awakens, including Daisy Ridley and John Boyega. The Americans' showrunners will be able to finish out the series the way they want to — FX has agreed to air two more seasons of the acclaimed drama, the network announced today.
The fourth season of The Americans is currently airing on FX; the 11th of the season's 13 episodes debuts tonight. Season 5 will also feature 13 episodes, and will air next year. The sixth and final season will run for 10 episodes in 2018.
"It's hard to believe we're heading into the final stretch on The Americans, and we're so grateful to know we'll be telling the story to its conclusion," said Joel Fields and Joe Weisberg, executive producers and co-showrunners on the series, in a press release.

Ubisoft is bringing back the Raving Rabbids for a new game: Rabbids Heroes, out on iOS and Android. Currently available in Canada, the mobile title is a fantasy-based trading card game in the vein of Hearthstone, Magic: The Gathering and other popular series.
Rabbids will duel in card-based fights as they try to head back to the Moon, where they originally came from. There's PvP options, touch-based controls and lots of shouting, as those familiar with the zombified creatures have come to expect. It may be almost four decades old, but relics surrounding Star Wars are still being uncovered and revealed.
This time, The Academy of Motion Picture Art and Science has posted a rare teaser trailer for the third film in the franchise, Return of the Jedi, on YouTube. You can see it in the video above.
Before the film had its name changed to Return of the Jedi, it was called Revenge of the Jedi. Originally called Revenge of the Jedi, after the first posters went out Lucas was reminded by fans — in the words of Yoda himself in The Empire Strikes Back — that revenge was not a value of the Jedi, so the title was changed. The original teaser trailers for the film all ran with the Revenge of the Jedi title, promising the third movie would arrive on May 25, 1983.
