General guidelines

Please note, when using any of the approved Yelp logos:

  1. Your use must be substantially separated from other logos, trademarks and graphics
  2. Your use must be the smallest logo used in your materials and proportional to the smallest font size of your marketing copy
  3. Your use must not imply endorsement by Yelp or create confusion
  4. Your use cannot be modified in any way, including proportions, colors, or fonts
  5. Your use cannot be used in connection with false or misleading advertising
  6. Your use cannot be used in a manner that disparages Yelp
  7. Your use cannot be combined with other words or marks
  8. Use is limited to the press and local businesses referring to their authorized listing(s) on Yelp

Here are a couple of ways you can get it wrong:

If you have another idea in mind that doesn’t meet the requirements above, please email us here.

“People Love Us on Yelp” sticker

The famed “People Love Us on Yelp” sticker is a semi-annual award program that selectively recognizes businesses that meet certain criteria. If you have not yet been selected for this award but would still like people to know that you are a Yelp-listed business, you can request a “Find Us on Yelp” sticker with this form.

Using reviews

Feel free to quote the occasional Yelp reviewer in your marketing materials, but please note:

  1. Don’t take it out of context (e.g., don’t excerpt a positive quote from a negative review)
  2. Stay faithful to the reviewer (e.g., no word substitutions or deletions)
  3. Only use Yelp’s recommended reviews (i.e., do not use reviews that aren’t currently recommended)
  4. Get permission from the reviewer and provide attribution
  5. Attribute Yelp as the source using the logo guidelines above

Using Yelp star ratings

Use of Yelp’s star rating imagery is forbidden, except on the web in the form of these dynamic ‘review counters’
