    Rational people always knew the National Enquirer was fiction. Now we know it was also an arm of the campaign. And currently it operates essentially as state media. Sort of like Sean Hannity.

    This is wild. Nat’l Enquirer sent stories about Trump to Michael Cohen before publication, let Trump suggest phony attack pieces on his opponents, and made edits when Trump and/or Cohen asked. Nat’l Enquirer was effectively “a Trump campaign mailer.”
