    OK, this falls into the "so good it almost hurts" category as it is both fun/whimsical *and* has rock-solid analytic integrity. Speaking of which, the bar charts share normalized axes so you can compare length across both sets of bars. Don't take that bit for granted!

    Why is is so hard for people to either admit they made a mistake or acknowledge a better approach? My respect increases for people who, when shown a mistake, acknowledge that mistake and do their best to address it. And if you don't do this? It tarnishes all your other work.

    This "if you're not in our club then you're doing it wrong" attitude really upsets me. There's plenty of amazing and talented people who don't participate for many reasons, especially women. Saying because we use social media we're somehow more worthy is just wrong.

    Now in its 6th year, its the annual Community Advent Calendar We start with a very special person who passed away this year. Michael was one of the first members of the Community and was responsible for connecting many of us together.
