FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017

The tournament was originally organized as the King Fahd Cup by Saudi Arabia, which hosted two events, in 1992 and 1995, bringing together the Saudi national team and various continental champions. In 1997, FIFA picked up the idea and staged the first FIFA Confederations Cup.
