T-mobile customer service changed my name to "IDIOT" on my account. by ldskywalker in tmobile

I ditched T-Mobile after only 6 months for shit like this. The promotion I was offered came in at half what was promised, the monthly bill was $15 higher than advertised, and the coverage map lied.

I know I'm probably paying too much at AT&T, but at least they're honest about what I'll be paying and I've never lost service. And they keep randomly adding more data to my package.

Huh, will that be the first game ever played in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium? I guess we'll have to see the Falcons schedule to know.

An entire typeface like that cool S you always drew in middle school. by speedmonster95 in typography

I never thought I'd see a font where the capital S and capital E are hard to tell apart.

Hearing "My phone number is 555-XXXX" in a movie immediately pulls me out of the reality they're trying to create. by samuraipizzacat29 in Showerthoughts

I've seen more shows and movies nowadays using real-sounding numbers. I think it's because it's trivial to get a random number on Google Voice or something.

The presence of an alternative explanation doesn't mean the study "doesn't mean anything". The study identifies a trend. Follow-up studies would investigate that trend further. This is how science works.

Demonstrates would be a better term. This doesn't prove anything -- you could set up similar demos to show other relationships that only exist for specific instances.

[Conference] Post-Game Thread: Green Bay Packers (12-7) at Atlanta Falcons (13-5) by PhoenixAvenger in GreenBayPackers

[–]Starsy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Falcons fan here.

I was cheering for Rodgers in the second half -- I wanted us to win, but I've always admired the Packers' class and grace, and Rodgers in particular. I bought a share of the Packers because of what a unique culture they have.

If there were any Falcons fans trolling, accept my apology on their behalf.

Going back and watching old FOP, I see how funny it was by romaniag in funny

Oh, okay, it's FOP now? We need a shorthand for the Fairly OddParents. That's how fundamental it is.

Ah, gotcha. I just saw the image and the post title, neither of which included the "this year" note like the tweet.
