New products and possibilities

F8 is where we unveil many new products for the developer community. We also have over 40 sessions and demo stations where people can learn about our latest products and how to integrate and get value from our platform at different stages of their business. This is also the opportunity to hear directly from Mark and Facebook's leadership on our vision for Facebook, the developer community and beyond.

Face time with our engineers and tech leaders

Attendees can check out our “Developer Garage” where they can meet 1:1 with Facebook engineers and experience our products in person as well as get answers to specific Facebook integrations. Expect tech leaders to be available throughout the conference either in sessions, Q&A or in the Developer Garage to share product insights.

Connect with your peers

F8 is an opportunity for the developer community to come together every year to learn from and engage with each other and Facebook. We end the first day with a a big party where people can wind down, socialize, and have fun before we kickoff the next day with a keynote and more sessions.

When and where will the F8 conference be held?

I’m not a US citizen or resident. Is a visa required to attend F8?

I'm traveling from outside the US. Will Facebook provide a visa letter to confirm I am attending F8?

You can receive a visa letter by email by sending a request to [email protected]. Please include “VISA LETTER” in the subject line and be sure to include your full name, country of citizenship, country of residence and dates of travel to the US.

What does F8 mean?

The term F8 is based on an important piece of Facebook culture: the hackathon and the idea that we'd happily use 8 hours outside our normal work day to learn about new technologies.

The Facebook family includes Instagram, Internet.org, LiveRail, Oculus, Messenger, Parse, WhatsApp, and more!

When will registration open?

What do I need for registration on the day of the conference?

Please bring a government-issued form of photo identification, such as a driver's license or passport.

How can I print a receipt or confirmation of my registration?

You should have received an email copy of your receipt and your registration. The easiest method would be to print a copy of the email you need for your records. If you did not receive an email confirmation, please email us at [email protected] .

When can I pick up my conference badge?

Badges will be available for pickup at the Conference Center from 8:00am to 5pm on April 12 and 13.

Please remember you will need a government-issued photo ID to verify your identity at the event.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate ticket transfers.

I can no longer attend F8. Will Facebook issue a refund?

We are unable to issue refunds for F8. We appreciate your understanding.

What is the price for a ticket?

The nonrefundable cost of admission is $595.
