Baltimore's Graffiti Activist
In 2015, Freddie Gray's contentious death during police arrest bought racial tensions to an explosive head in the Maryland city of Baltimore. Broadcast around the globe, thousands took to the streets in angry protest. Poetically, these events have spawned an artistic movement, inspiring street artists to use Baltimore's urban landscape as a canvas. Gaia is one such artist and takes us on a tour of the painted walls and derelict buildings of his neighbourhood that document the historic riots.
