Woman Walks Naked Through Town After Emerging From Tanning Salon
The woman was captured on camera emerging from a tanning salon in Newquay, Cornwall, after a bronzing session, wearing nothing and carrying only a towel. Amy Martin, who snapped a picture of the woman, spotted her outside her workplace at Burger King. Ms Martin later spoke to the owner of a nearby tanning salon who said the woman had been a customer.

After two Syrian boys in Switzerland asked to be excused from shaking a female teacher's hand because they said it violated their faith, their canton announced Wednesday that families of children who refuse to participate in the tradition that starts and ends the school day will be fined. "The public interest with respect to equality between men and women and the integration of foreigners significantly outweigh the freedom of conscience (freedom of religion) of the students," reads a translation of the statement, according to The Washington Post. Initially, school officials struck a compromise with the teens, saying they should not shake any teachers' hands to avoid discrimination.

A Spanish police officer has described the moment he found the body of a British businessman surrounded by blood with a gun in his left hand. Giving evidence in the trial of Slovakian model Mayka Kukucova, who is charged with murdering Andrew Bush, the officer said he found the victim at his luxury Marbella home "on the floor, near the front door". Appearing in court for the second day, the 26-year-old said she did not realise Mr Bush was dead when she fled to Madrid to meet her boyfriend before the pair took a bus to Slovakia, because she was "terrified" for herself and her family.

Irish airline takes delivery of Russia's first post-Soviet passenger jet
Ireland's CityJet on Tuesday became the first western European airline to take delivery of the Russian-designed passenger jet that Vladimir Putin hopes will compete internationally with planes made by the likes of Brazil's Embraer and Canada's Bombardier . The first of 15 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft leased by CityJet was delivered in Venice, the airline said, with the option for 16 more in a deal worth more than $1 billion including servicing. The 98-seat Superjet 100 is the first Russian-designed passenger jet to be built since the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union in a project championed by Russian President Putin.
