    I'm very excited that ICLR 2020 will be in Addis Ababa. This will be the first major machine learning research conference to be hosted on the continent of Africa!

    ICLR 2020 will be in Addis! Exciting news not only to reduce the visa issues that have plagued recent conferences, but also because I think many of my colleagues will be inspired by the wave of AI used for good that is sweeping through Africa right now.
