    Diversity is a strength of Georgia's, and all citizens should have access to free and fair elections. We keep waiting to hear from etc on how we together fix democracy in GA. Where are the real leaders?

    As the Georgia electorate becomes increasingly diverse and younger, and as Democrats win larger shares of these voters, as the GOP increasingly alienates all but their most ardent supporters, there is every reason to believe the state will become increasingly competitive.

    As a slight caveat to the exits - the exit polls overstated the vote share among black men at 14% of the electorate, while they were actually 11%. Meaning that 88% support number for Abrams is likely understating her actual support from black men.

    Personally, I think the "must have been a Governor or Senator" thing is overrated and I think his 2018 performance was indeed impressive and I've got no problem with Beto being treated as a serious candidate. I'm not sure why Stacey Abrams isn't in the same bucket, though.

    Also exit polls get things wrong-- anyone with voter file access can figure out that earned support levels in the mid 90s from African American women AND men. had historic LOW support from all communities of color. Not a bright future for GA GOP
