    Our open-source collections CMS software developed w/ was shared with the Indian Residential School History & Dialogue Centre at UBC as a template to start their collections site. It will be fabulous resource and we were proud to help.

    VHEC staff attended today’s opening of the Indian Residential School History & Dialogue Centre at UBC. The VHEC is proud to be a partner of the IRSHDC. More information can be found here:

    Officials wanted Jewish inmates at Westerbork transit camp in the Netherlands to work harder. Inmates had intentionally worked poorly on jobs assisting the war effort. Some risked their lives refusing to work at all. As an incentive a special set of camp scrip was made in 1944.
