    confuses me. It seems to be implying that and are incompatible, and worse, that people are not real humans capable of abstract thought. Yet the end says "For the Japanese Christians", suggesting the creators are pro-Christianity... 🤔

    In Phoenix AZ, both widely available ISPs have 1TB bandwidth caps on their consumer plans. Had to upgrade to a $100/mo business plan so I could continue running a full node.

    Bottleneck is more network, bandwidth caps (1.5TB/more and growing) and CPU for signing validation.

    The devs and minds behind are in for the long term. They don't care if you "leave Bitcoin for XYZ reason". They even don't care (too much) if BTC drops to 10USD. They will continue to build the best decentralized peer to peer electronic cash system.

    The main bottleneck today, is bandwidth and/or CPU time causing the initial sync to take a long time. This discourages people from using Bitcoin for real, and instead opting to use insecure light wallets (that also collectively compromise the overall network security).

    PSA: When it comes to block size, storage was *never* a concern. So facts about storage improvements are entirely irrelevant - we were already good on that front anyway.

    We’re chastising companies for not adopting Segwit quickly enough when one of the virtues we touted for Segwit was it was opt-in. If you wanted to scale quick and have companies be forced to go along, you should have supported 2X. Let’s be more patient.

    Note that if the dissenting set is small enough that they de facto don't form an economy among each other, in practice they have no real choice but to go along with the hardfork. (The size to be "meaningless" here is so small that it also doesn't really count against unanimity.)

    Once integrate BCH into their merchant solutions, BCH & BTC will be neck and neck in level of support from merchants. I predict in a year ~95% of stores that accept BTC will also accept BCH. That's the power of centralization :(
