It’s weird how the Trump regime always emphasizes the “peaceful transfer of power” when a former democracy transitions to authoritarianism. Trump said the exact same thing at his own inauguration.

In functional democracies, power transfers happen all the time and nobody finds it necessary to remark that they’re “peaceful” because that’s business as usual.

And Trump himself basically said he'll agree to peaceful transfer of power only if he, himself, wins. Trumpers confidently forget that.
