In 2106 users at eight of Schibsted’s marketplaces for secondhand shopping potentially saved 16.3 million tons of carbon dioxide. That is the equivalent of flying 1,400 times around the globe with an Airbus 380. ”Secondhand trade is great for the environment, and with Schibsted’s environmental calculation we know just how great,” says Lena K Samuelsson, EVP Communication and CSR at Schibsted Media Group.
