Redis-Spark Timeseries benchmark
Redis Labs’ benchmarks using time-series data show that running Spark on Redis as a data store results in 135 times faster processing compared to Spark using HDFS and 45 times faster processing compared to Spark using Tachyon as an off-heap data store or Spark storing the data on-heap.
Redis on Flash with Samsung NVMe benchmark
The combination of RLEC Flash and Samsung NVMe SSD has set a new industry performance record: delivering over 2 million operations/second, over 1GB disk throughput and over 1Gbps network throughput on a single server while keeping latency under 1 millisecond. This represents a 40X increase in throughput with NVMe based SSDs, while the cost of the new SSDs is likely to be only incremental compared to SATA-based SSDs. This signifies a generational change in the economics of in-memory computing.
NoSQL Performance Benchmark
Avalon consulting benchmarked a comparison of database throughput and latency across Couchbase, Datastax , Aerospike and Redis Labs for a high volume real -time write-intensive application. Redis Labs far surpassed the competition with up to 8 times the throughput at 50% lower latencies.
Six Essential Features for Highly Available Redis
This whitepaper benchmarks Redis deployments across different Redis- as- a- service providers and measures how long different providers take to fail-over and how many times data was recovered/lost.
Redis-as-a-Service Performance Benchmark
Altoros consulting benchmarked a comparison of Redis-as-a-Service providers including ElasticCache, Redis Green, Redis-To-Go and Redis Labs using a memtier benchmark and several Java based stress testing tools. Redis Labs’ throughput results topped the list.
