At first, since I never played Pokémon as a kid I never thought in a million years I'd ever dl the game and start to play it. Than, one day last week I was hanging out with my nephew ( 14 yrs old) who basically talked me into downloading it and giving it a chance.
After playing it for a couple of days I found the game to be quite interesting. It really actually isn't bad at all besides the issues like server overloads and the fact that it drains your battery so much like no other app I've seen before. But after more updates it should get smoother and get a lot of the glitches out.
But, like as I mentioned there are some really nice features that make Pokémon worth playing. What in my opinion is great about the game is that it gets people out side of there homes and away from the TV. Plus one my favorite parts of the game is that everyone gets explore a lot of parts there city (or town) that you live in that they might not ever of notices. Than it could hopefully grab there attention enough to remember it and look up the history of said building, etc... As we were playing you get to explore and see objects, architectural buildings, monuments, etc.. that like I said most didn't even know existed. I can vouch for that. What also I found very interesting, is while playing the game and walking around ( or kind of cheating by driving, lol) is that I got to see beautiful buildings, monuments, bridges, churches, statues, etc. Which by the way, lol, I drive by on a daily basis but never really payed that close attention to how wonderfully built and the thought process behind some of these objects amazing places.
Plus, it also gets kids and adults to communicate with each other that probably on a normal day to day basis would never of spoken to each other. Especially when our MSM continously rants and raves on racism making things 100x worse, but let's not forget there on this post, lol.
So, all in all on my long rant, I still have it installed and occasionally am still playing Pokémon with my women when she wants to go on a walk or drive. But if you decide to play, I highly suggest definitely purchasing either a backup battery or a portable one because like I said, it's a battery drainer like I've never seen before.
I have two but there only 5200MaHz, if anyone she's a good deal for an Android battery backup (at a decent fair price) please let me know. Thanks so much in advance. Take care everyone.
