During a New Moon lunar cycle urban and suburban gardeners will do well to grow Quinoa, Oats, Millet, Wheat, Rye, and Flaxseed, spinach, lettuce, corn and rice to name a few. This is due to a waxing moon from New Moon to Full Moon. Water in the earth will be pulled up by Luna just like Her sway over ocean tides. Although Full Moons have an even larger gravitational effect a New Moon makes water available for growth.

New Moon in Gemini focus is best for spinach, cauliflower or broccoli, and lettuce.

Planetary Archangel Gabriel rules over Luna although on a New Moon expressing receptivity.

Gemini is Mercurial in nature and therefore influences of Planetary Archangel Raphael holds sway during a New Moon in Gemini.

Since Mercury is so important for Gemini planting magick we evoke a mercurial zodiac facet known as the attribute of GOD THE WINGED MESSENGER found in Acts 14:12 (DRB) And they called Barnabas, Jupiter: but Paul, Mercury; because he was chief speaker.

Zodiac Angel Ambriel rules over Gemini the Twins Astrology sign.

Speaking of the New Moon we turn to:

Ezekiel 46:1 (WBT) Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh towards the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

Information found in this document is based on the “Oral Tradition” known as “Kabbalah” taught to me by Rosicrucian clergy when I was but a young girl the facts of which I have committed to memory.

Make Ubuntu Look Like Windows

"Thanks to the GNOME Shell desktop in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, it’s now possible to get a single, Windows-style taskbar on Ubuntu. You can make the theme look more like Windows, too, if you’re tired of Ubuntu’s orange theme. We’re not trying to create a perfect imitation of Windows here—where’s the fun in that? Instead, we’re just looking for an interface that looks and functions more like Windows."

Ubuntu remains the dominant cloud operating system, but that's not where it will end. 🐧
"According to the May 8, 2018 Cloud Market statistics, on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, Ubuntu dominates the cloud with 209,000 instances, well ahead of its competitors Amazon Linux AMI, 88,500; Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and CentOS's 31,400, and Windows Server's 29,200. As another data point, the executives at the OpenStack cloud company Rackspace stated that although their company had started with RHEL, today it's 60/40 Ubuntu."

Mark Shuttleworth also weighed in on the Ubuntu desktop, as it has become one of the more well-known distros to bring newbies into the world of Linux. He finds it "a fascinating study of human nature that Unity [Ubuntu's former desktop] became a complete exercise in torches and pitchforks. I'm now convinced a lot of the people who demanded its demise never used it." That's because, while "I think GNOME is a nicely done desktop," many Ubuntu users are now objecting to GNOME. Shuttleworth also had kind words about the KDE Neon, MATE, and LXDE desktops. Still, "I do miss Unity, but I use GNOME."

Which brings up a good point. when Unity launched as more than just a netbook remix UI, some people embraced it, but it seemed most hated it and wanted Ubuntu to remain on Gnome 2.x for eternity. It seemed that after 14.04, people were neutral or loved the Unity desktop far more than the dislike or hatred of it. Once it was known that Ubuntu would go back to gnome, all of the naysayers and haters came back out of the woodwork to protest them leaving Unity behind. I've found that +Martin Wimpress's Mate desktop is an excellent desktop for those that want the newer features and technology while being wrapped in a familiar package, and a suitable alternative if you don't like Unity or the new Gnome 3/Gnome Shell

Overall, it seems Canonical and Ubuntu are poised to grow based on the cloud technology race. I just hope that they don't lapse on the desktop side of things, as what they have is a good product.
