Scientists want to bring woolly mammoths back

Research from Harvard University is exciting some scientists about the prospects of being able to recreate the long extinct woolly mammoth. The ice age mammalâs DNA could potentially be spliced with an Asian elephant to create a hybrid.
Harvard Geneticist Professor, George Church, briefed the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) about the progress his team has made in the past two years of trying to âde-extinctâ the mammoth.
âOur aim is to produce a hybrid elephant-mammoth embryo,â said Church. âActually, it would be more like an elephant with a number of mammoth traits. Weâre not there yet, but it could happen in a couple of years.â
His team has managed to create a hybrid “mammophantâ cell and hopes to reach an embryo within the next two years. They owe some of their credit to the gene-editing tool Crispr, according to the Guardian. However, it will be many more years before a living mammophant could be lumbering around our colder climates.
Typical biologists, thinking if something can be done, it ought to, as though ‘might makes right’…
Well, there’s only one thing to be done: establish a black market paying exorbitantly for mammoth fur and meat! We’ll have this hybrid mammophant species extinct in no time! đ

Will trad members of The Tribe stick their neck out and join us in opposing it? As with the aforementioned commenter (and as he pointed out), their ancestors used to practice it; I doubt they care that much. And with their more liberal brethren like the author above making the case for it, they’re even less likely to get involved.
Other than some individual allies here and there, we’ll likely be largely alone in our opposition.
Same as we have been, mostly, in all the other culture war battles. (And Democrat-/Liberal-voting racial and ethnic minority Christians are useless, because notwithstanding their personal opinions, they never let such affect their continued solidarity voting for parties which most ardently fight on the other side in the culture war. So it’ll mostly be white Christians fighting the good fight, without even ĐĐŸrmons on our side in this case.)

A Black Lives Matter leader has come under fire after arguing on social media that white people are âsub-humanâ and suffer from ârecessive genetic defects,â and musing about how the race could be wiped out. In a Facebook post, Black Lives Matter Toronto co-founder Yusra Khogali went on a rant, arguing that black people are the superior race because white people posses âgenetic defectsâ that make them lesser humans, according to the Toronto Sun.
âWhiteness is not humxness, in fact, white skin is sub-humxn,â she wrote. âAll phenotypes exist within the black family and white ppl are a genetic defect of blackness.â
She continued explaining her theory, claiming white people are lesser because â[they] have a higher concentration of enzyme inhibitors that suppress melanin production. They are genetically deficient because melanin is present at the inception of life. Melanin enables black skin to capture light and hold it in its memory mode which reveals that blackness converts light into knowledge. Melanin directly communicates with cosmic energy.â
Khogali then proclaimed: âWhite ppl are recessive genetic defects. This is factual.â
Of course, black lives don’t matter to #BLM, either, except when taken by white cops; they completely ignore black-on-black violence.
They just hate whites, as we see.
