Check out “We Are The Ship.” It’s classified as a children’s book for older kids, but the art is gorgeous and the story is a great intro to the history.

His spot: The . He called me often and I have a ball he signed “To Dani.” It’s the only time someone wrote my name that way...😂 I remember when Minnie Miñoso “scolded” Armando in my presence while I sat between Buck O’Neil & the Cuban Comet at a signing in NJ.
