If Azaria’s actions were such an anomaly, why is it that 70% of Israelis supported clemency for him, & only 19% said that he shouldnt be pardoned? Azaria had no remorse for taking a human life, but it doesnt seem that many Israelis had much remorse either. mondoweiss.net/2018/09/israel…

Its probably too late now, but at the time, website analytics couldve easily shown the IP addresses of the sites' visitors. Wouldnt be hard- frankly, I doubt many people are looking at bathymetric info, and even less from Malaysia (assuming it was the pilot or anyone else there).

I highly doubt this is a coincidence. I know the pilot is a suspect, I wonder if they discovered whether any of his internet searches were of the ocean's depths.

This was one of the first theories I read about back in 2014. It would be believable if in fact the patent went to Rothschild, but I havent seen proof of that. Also it seems highly unlikely none of the 4 had a will to transfer ownership to family members if they die.

Good point. I could see the Malaysian govt freeloading and trying to avoid compensation, but then again the blow back would be huge. This is a very interesting situation because if a 3rd party finds it on their own, will they be required to give it up regardless of compensation?

Mike, I know seabed searches r very costly, but if the #MH370 location is now known 2 be in a much smaller possible area, u think @Ocean__Infinity @fugro or any other firm will try 2 find it soon? Obviously OI has already spent tons, but it seems the reward vs. risk is higher now

U DO know that of 87 aircraft missing since 1948, only 8 r from the 21st century (when GPS, satellites, AUVs, other tech became much more advanced), right? & none of the 87 missing involved huge searches covering 100s of 1000s of sq mi. It IS in fact as unusual as I made it sound

I'm not usually a conspiracy theory type of guy. But my gut tells me there is something super shady about #MH370 and I believe that's partly why the search has been fruitless. More than anything I feel so bad for the victims' families right now. I hope they get closure

Thanks for the info, Brock. It's quite impressive that each sweep is so wide. Seems the technology is pretty good these days. I wonder how high above the seabed the AUVs have to be to get such a wide sweep.
