Thanks so much for including it! It was really a seminal development to see a bill like that introduced in Congress.

And which was cosponsored by 30 other Democratic Members of Congress to show that indeed Democrats have never been more outspoken in decrying Israeli military occupation.

You could've cited the landmark bill introduced by Rep. in the last Congress, which reads: "In the Israeli-occupied West Bank, there are 2 separate legal systems, w/ Israeli military law imposed on Palestinians & Israeli civilian law applied to Israeli settlers."

Of course there are intense pressures on not to speak about Israeli military occupation, . But you only cite one example of them voting not do so.

I caught a typo. This should read: "Former Fox News reporter joining State Dept to lead propaganda efforts."

..."unless you boycott for Palestinian rights, in which case I will bring down the wrath of God and the federal government on you."

Are you kicking off your presidential campaign by telling everyone how you just voted in the Senate to trample on the First Amendment by encouraging states to punish people for boycotting for Palestinian rights? 🤔

The Trump admin's candor that it is not an "honest broker" on Israeli-Palestinian issues is refreshing and a much more realistic appraisal of reality than the pablum spouted by the Obama, Bush, and Clinton admins during the "peace process".

Still pretty proud of how far we’ve come that 23 senators, including presidential hopefuls votes against criminalizing political boycotts for Palestinian rights. There’s a long way to go, but this couldn’t have been possible a few years ago

Ugly day for the Senate, but something important happened here: All serious 2020 candidates (Harris, Sanders, Warren, Gillibrand and Booker) bucked AIPAC and voted against this anti-BDS bill. That tells you a LOT about the politics of Israel in the Democratic Party rn

🚨🚨🚨 Bam. Just like that the Senate votes 77-23 to trample on the First Amendment by encouraging states to punish individuals who boycott for Palestinian freedom, justice, and equality. Below are the 23 Senators who opposed. Please RT to thank them.
