I worked for Bush campaign in 2000 when Bush won EC. But now believe EC should be abolished for good of country and the Republican Party, which must grow to represent all America. It's politically self-destructive to say at some fixed date *most voters* will lose their current coverage. Just say it won't happen.
Universal coverage can't be turned on with the flick of a switch. Let's talk about transitioning off private coverage as a decades-long process.
