You need to think about a style guide for the content. More subtitles. Less passive text. Minimise long sentences, for example. I don’t follow the rules religiously but I use them as a guide to force me to think about the content.

Yep no problem. If you’re on Wordpress, install the yoast SEO plug-in. It at least starts you thinking about getting post content and SEO right.

Getting the SEO right is pretty critical. I’ve experimented with excerpt positioning and keyword usage. Makes a huge difference. Cc @jtroyer

Queues were pretty ugly. Had the entire contents of my hand luggage removed for scanning. On the plus side, I kept my shoes on.

I’ve rewritten some blog posts and paid a lot more attention to content and SEO. Also you need to use google search console and see how posts rate. It makes a massive difference to tweak content. I think people are still reading, just google is more selective.

Dual hypervisor wouldn’t be too bad if the Hyper-V implementation wasn’t so half-arsed. The networking for example, is so different. Hyper-V didn’t do NFS, so storage was all different. If it was easy to move between hypervisors, the value might have been tangible.
