This was done by Scholastic. I believe they hired John Martz to do it, but I don't think he makes fonts for clients any more. I also made one myself using Fontographer, but I use the one Scholastic commissioned. I'll probably redesign the font soon.

I used to hand letter all of my comics, but a font was made based on my handwriting and I began using it for Amulet 2. Now I only hand letter the sound effects and words that are yelled, for emphasis. It saves me a LOT of time, and allows for faster editing. twitter.com/jenEart/status…
