Pro tip: most of the time when you “delete” content stored on someone else’s servers, a 𝚍𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚝𝚎𝚍 flag is set in the database but it’s not actually removed. I thought more people realized this?

Here is Tucker Carlson in 2004, lying about WMDs and hinting he believed the (neoconservative, actually) line that Saddam sent them all to Syria. Plenty of people, in 2002, questioned the WMD claims — and wanted UN weapons inspectors to continue doing their job.

The Bush administration lied its way into invading Iraq and Tucker Carlson, who was on CNN at the time, smugly dismissed those who warned they were liars. He trusted his president.

The Supreme Court will decide if the census citizenship question is legal. runs through what Democrats should also do to block it.

Here it is. SCOTUS will hear arguments in April to determine if Trump's citizenship question is legal. But Democrats in Congress shouldn't wait to see what they decide.

(obviously, in reality, the case is about voting rights/race/immigration. but Furman's ruling was not)

i think the relevant case record is on judicial oversight of agency decision-making right? APA's "arbitrary and capricious" standard is very high. If they over turn Furman, I assume it will be on those statutory grounds.

well remember the reason they need a citizenship question is to IMPROVE voting rights enforcement, so maybe he'll vote against it!

I don't know. The Furman ruling is airtight on APA grounds. Commerce really fucked this up. But i suppose I am being naively optimistic.

SCOTUS was going to hear this case. Expediting the process is no indication of how they'll rule on the merits.
