- the main thing here IMO, aside for resilience of operations&intel collection in North , is the time element. Once again it's shown that communication between Wilayat Sinai and the central command is not broken, but seriously disrupted due to damage/tradecraft

Officially he is no longer the commander of al-Saiqa (though he still hangs around with them a lot), but the commander of the ground element of Omar Mukhtar ops room. He was "kicked upstairs" after the al-Saiqa rioting in Benghazi.
