BetaMidrash

BetaMidrash Android App. Uses the Sefaria Library of texts to make a Torah app giving access to thousands of texts, connections between them, translations, searches, etc.

You can get BetaMidrash on the Play Store.

How to use

  1. git clone https://github.com/Sefaria/BetaMidrash.git
  2. Download Eclipse for Java
  3. Download Android Development Tools (ADT)
  4. Add the ADT to Eclipse
  5. Open google-play-services_lib in Eclipse
  6. Open BetaMidrash
  7. Right click BetaMidrash -> Proporties -> Android -> Add. Then select google-play-services_lib
  8. Connect android phone to computer. If you never did it, you need to enable developer mode on your phone (Settings -> About phone -> click Build Number 5 times).
  9. Run Project. You might need to change your USB options on your phone (for different phones, different options work)

Also needs google-play-services_lib to run. Save lib to same directory as BetaMidrash.
