The Recognition Panel is a corporate body created by the Royal Charter on self-regulation of the press.[1] The Recognition Panel's function is to carry out activities relating to the recognition of press regulators.[2]
In October 2016 IMPRESS became the UK's 1st state approved press regulator after its application for Royal Charter recognition was granted.[3]
