Safer Internet Day (SID) is the flagship event under the Better Internet for Kids strategy, taking place in February every year. What started as a European initiative under the EC Safer Internet Programme has turned into a huge event with a global reach of over 400 million people. On Safer Internet Day, be the change for a better Internet: enrol for events and activities, join our global social media campaign.

As the last step towards the end of roaming charges by 15 June 2017, representatives of the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission agreed on how to regulate wholesale roaming markets (the prices operators charge each other when their customers use other networks when roaming in the EU).

Startup Europe Week (SEW) is an initiative of Startup Europe, which represents European regional and local authorities. It is a large event with a series of meetups taking place from 6 to 10 February 2017 in over 40 countries, supported by more than 280 organisers.
