Messaging with suspended or deactivated users
Messaging with suspended or deactivated users
Airbnb may limit, suspend, or deactivate an account, as outlined in our Terms of Service. If a host or guest you've messaged is suspended or their account deactivated, messages they sent you will be hidden in the message thread.
What happens to messages if a user is suspended or deactivated
If a user is suspended or deactivated, that person’s messages to you will be replaced with text indicating that the message has been hidden because the person no longer has access to Airbnb.
What happens to messages if their account is restored
Depending on the nature of the situation, the suspended user and their messages may eventually be restored.
Your messages with the person will show as they did before the suspension or deactivation.
