    Dokdo， the islands of beauty and mystique， accessible only when the heavens allow it.
    Five foreigners have set out to explore the mysterious Dokdoo， the easternmost point of Korea’s territory.
    They are Italian photographer Marco， who wants to capture the sunrise at Dokdo in his camera； history professor Alexis and her son Julian from the U. S. longing to spend a night on the rocky islet； Tyler， an American student in Korea who wants to see for himself the islets he has been studying； and Algerian－born French student Kenza whose wish is to visit Dokdo， the symbol of peace.
    What did Dokdo have in store for these five foreigners， each pursuing his or her own purposes and dreams？ These honorary Dokdo residents take a close look and share their thoughts about the islets.

    하늘이 허락해야만 들어갈 수 있다고 알려진 아름답고 신비로운 섬， 독도.
    대한민국의 최동단 영토인 독도를 방문하고 싶어하는 다섯 명의 외국인들이 독도 탐방에 나선다.
    독도의 일출을 자신의 카메라에 담고 싶어하는 이탈리아 사진작가 마르코， 독도에서 하룻밤을 보내고 싶은 미국 역사학과 교수 알렉시스， 그녀의 아들 줄리안， 자신이 공부한 독도의 역사를 직접 눈으로 확인하고 싶은 미국인 유학생 타일러 그리고 평화의 상징인 독도를 방문하는 것이 소원인 알제리 태생의 프랑스인 유학생 켄자.
    각자의 소망을 안고 서울에서 함께 출발해 독도 탐방에 나선 다섯 명의 외국인들의 눈에 비친 독도는 과연 어떤 모습일까？
