. However, I found the challenge to be innovative & interesting USING LIMITED COLOR a compelling RESTRICTION to be overcome!

  4. In reply to

. Post-digital comicbook color was often frustrating—and I'm the first to admit it!!!

  5. In reply to

    . During my Marvel tour, only percentages of 25, 50, 75 & 100 were possible—and 75 was NIXED because of over-saturation!

. Hey, Kody! You are correct—but today's computer coloring allows MILLIONS of YELLOW, MAGENTA, CYAN. BLACK combinations!!!

. My favorite young artist today? Maybe you heard of that kid AMANDA CONNER—she knocks me out!!!

  10. In reply to

. Hey, Jim! Your heart's in the right place, but the REALITY OF THE COMICBOOK WORLD wields a dangerous blade!

  11. In reply to

. Hey, Scott! I'm thinking you'd be sick of hearing me expound on the intricacies of RED TIDE by now! I am!!

  12. In reply to
    Jan 29

. Hey, Pete! Let me know if you learn ANYTHING from the RED TIDE ARTIST'S EDITION--or if you already KNEW IT ALL!

  13. In reply to

. And FYI: I always thought of it as ELECTRONIC WALLPAPER! Keep your finger out of that receptacle!!!

  14. In reply to
    Jan 29

. I tapped into ELECTRONIC PRINTED CIRCUITRY and simplified—through a kind of abstract, geometric prism!

  15. In reply to
    Jan 29

. Now, what inspired the MOTHERBOARD PATTERNS I often used in my comicbook work?

  16. In reply to
    Jan 29

. —but it's a NATURAL APPROACH! I'm at home in darkness—and have created most of my work between dusk and dawn!

  17. In reply to
    Jan 29

. I've been faulted and praised for my ubiquitous use of a DARK PALETTE--

  18. In reply to
    Jan 29

. At times, I'd strive for COLOR INNOVATION but others required CAPITALIZING ON CLICHES! Trick is to know when!

  19. In reply to
    Jan 29

. Here's the point: DIFFERENT challenges require DIFFERENT solutions!

  20. In reply to
