Firouz Naderi was a giant. He helped to redefine humanity's knowledge about Mars and reinvigorate our sense of curiosity. His spirit of discovery endures through the individuals he inspired at who explore the unknown. My heart is with the family and his loved ones.

I lost a friend today, and @NASAJPL lost a great leader and innovator. Firouz Naderi brought passion and intensity to everything he did. We have an amazing Mars Exploration Program and robust Exoplanet exploration because of his work. My heart is with his family and friends. 💔 twitter.com/Firouz_Naderi/…
