    We support moves by the ANC-led government to support the international BDS movement - this will be one of the key tools to bring down the system of apartheid in Israel. However, as a movement of action, we also demand more robust actions to be taken by government!

    According to : 51% of women in Gaza Strip are subjected to domestic violence and 10.2% of women in West Bank and 14.9 % in Gaza strip have been sexually assaulted. There are no specific laws in the OPT that protect women against domestic and sexual violence.

    In addition to the resolutions of Equal Education’s 2015 Congress, on solidarity with international struggles, our 2018 Congress resolved that our movement must show solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for self-determination.

    Housing is a human right! This is why on we have occupied Rondebosch golf course. This land is owned by the city and is leased to the golf club for R1000 a yea a year! It is the size of 45 rugby fields. We say this land should be used for housing!
